This course is for anyone who has a good basic knowledge of English and who wants to improve their English listening, speaking and reading skills. Tea anyone?

An opportunity to learn about the misty north of Britain, its landscape full of beautiful lochs and mountains, its history (mostly fighting the English), its culture (not only bagpipes) and its legends (is there really a monster in Loch Ness?). Sample some traditional Scottish specialities such as shortbread and of course try some of our famous "water of life" - whisky.

In diesem englischsprachigen Vortrag werden Sie den nebligen Norden von Großbritannien, seine Landschaft voll schöner Seen und Berge, seine Geschichte (meistens Kämpfe gegen die Engländer), seine Kultur (nicht nur den Dudelsack) und seine Sagen (gibt es das Monster von Loch Ness wirklich?) kennenlernen. Außerdem dürfen Sie traditionelle schottische Spezialitäten wie Shortbread und natürlich das "Wasser des Lebens", den Whisky, probieren.
